Tang Dynasty "China's Greatest Age" where Poetry, calligraphy, landscape painting, philosophy, political thought, historical writing, scientific advances in astronomy, chemistry, and medicine, and the production of silk, porcelain, and teas all flourished
Three Policies
Although a clear super power, the Dynasty also maintained relationships with neighboring lands. They brought order by using a tributary system. (They would bring gifts to the emperor and perform the kowtow in which they knelt to the emperor and touched their foreheads to the ground) These relationships were good because it helped trade, caused cultural exchanges, and diplomatic contacts.
